Wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, friend. Our beloved Nedal will be remembered in so many ways, but was an inspiration to us all -- not only for her amazing courage and strength, but also for her indomitable spirit and the love she had for life. Her magnetic personality, smile and beauty inside and out drew us all in and always made her stand out in a crowd. And while she had less time here on Earth than many, she made the most of every moment and every day, and indeed lived a lifetime.

Her boundless love for her husband, children, family and friends made Nedal's life truly complete. The joy of her life was being married to Steve and sharing with him two beautiful children, Maryam and Jacob. She was most proud of being their mother and spending every moment she could with them. Her family called her "Auntie Love You" with good reason. She was the nucleus of her family, the light of their lives, and the joy in their heart. Her heart was always filled with love, and her home was always open to share. Nedal made everyone around her feel special, although she, in fact, was the special one. Nedal truly made a difference in so many lives. She devoted much of her time and energy to charity, tending to the needs of others. She always gave selflessly and generously, especially to great charitable causes. Even in her most painful days, she would still bring clothing and gifts to the poor, more concerned with other's suffering than her own. She gave so much love to her husband and children, entire family and friends, and yet still had more love to give to her entire community and others in need.

Nedal was a woman of true faith. God calls all of us, and she responded to his call with an open and devoted heart. Through all of her trials and challenges, her faith was unwavering -- she would always say that she was carrying her cross as Jesus did. She never felt sorry for herself or regarded her illness as a burden, but instead chose to count her blessings. She believed that God was carrying her on eagle's wings and that her faith would see her through. And even in her darkest moments, Nedal knew the Lord was always with her, and she continued to be a beacon for us all.

The love and encouragement of her family and friends gave Nedal the strength to keep fighting. And through her fight, she taught us all what true strength and grace mean. Always with her head held high, she faced every challenge with courage and masked her pain with a radiant smile. Nedal gave of herself in so many ways, and her legacy will live on forever in our hearts, giving us strength when we need it most. Nedal was the heart and soul of her family and always watched over us all. We are comforted knowing that she is now our angel and will continue to watch over us all. Our beautiful Nethu, whether we're looking up at the shining sun or the stars twinkling in the sky, we know you'll be smiling down upon us.
