How to create an SSRS DataSet using the MDX Query Editor

First, create a DataSource using the "Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services" Provider. Then, create a new Report using the New Report Wizard. When you define the DataSet the MDX Query Editor will be used.

If, alternatively, you use the OLE-DB Provider for Analysis Services 9.0 you will only be able to use the Generic Query Editor.
